Cookie Policy
Effective date: 12 October 2026
A cookie is a small piece of text that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits, which is how sites remember a login or a preference. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: local and session storage keep data inside the browser, an invisible image or pixel reports that a page was opened, and fingerprinting infers a device's identity from its characteristics rather than storing anything at all.
This page describes dualaspect.online, published by GRAVELGANT s.r.o. The short version is that this site uses none of them.
What we checked
- Cookies set by this site
- Not used. The pages are static and contain no code that sets a cookie, first-party or otherwise.
- Cookies set by others through this site
- Not used. No third party has any presence on these pages, so no one else is in a position to set a cookie here.
- localStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to your browser's long-term storage, which is why the checklists cannot remember ticks.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. Nothing is kept for the duration of a tab either.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. No in-browser database is created.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. There are no image files at all on this site; every illustration is drawn by the page itself.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. No script measures fonts, canvas rendering, screen characteristics or anything comparable.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. Typefaces come from the ones already on your device, and the only script is a small first-party file that opens the menu and triggers the print dialogue.
- Server access logs
- Used. Our hosting provider records each request — IP address, date and time, URL, referring page if sent, and browser identification string — and those entries are kept for 30 days.
Why there is no banner
Consent banners exist so that you can agree to, or refuse, storage that a site wants to place on your device. This site wants to place none, so there is nothing for you to decide. Showing a banner here would imply a choice that does not exist, which would be untrue, and an untrue notice is worse than no notice.
What actually happens when you open a page
Your browser asks our hosting provider for a page, a stylesheet and a small script. The server sends them and writes one line in its access log. That line is deleted after 30 days. Nothing else happens, no other server is contacted, and nothing is stored on your device beyond the ordinary browser cache that you control.
The checklists do not remember ticks
The boxes in the course are drawn with the stylesheet. They are printed marks rather than controls, and nothing records them — not localStorage, not sessionStorage, not IndexedDB, not a pixel, not a fingerprint. That is a deliberate choice, and it is why the checklists page offers printing instead of saving.
After you follow an affiliate link
This site publishes paid affiliate links, explained on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Following one takes you to a site operated by someone else. That destination, and the affiliate network that operates the link, may set cookies on their own domains in order to record where the visit came from. GRAVELGANT s.r.o. does not control those cookies, cannot read them, and cannot switch them off for you. Their own cookie notices apply, and they are worth reading before you sign up to anything.
Clearing or blocking cookies in any browser
Although this site sets none, you may want to manage the ones other sites set. Every current browser keeps these controls in its settings, under a heading about privacy, security or site data. From there you can clear stored data for all sites or for one site, block cookies from third parties, or block all cookies — bearing in mind that blocking everything will stop many sites from keeping you logged in. Browsers also offer a private or incognito window, which discards cookies when the window is closed. Your browser's own help pages give the exact wording for your version.
If this ever changes
If a cookie or any similar technology is ever introduced on dualaspect.online, this page will be rewritten first to describe exactly what it is and what it does, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before anything is stored on your device. We will not quietly add one and update the page afterwards.
